DJD Player: The Music Player App for DJs
DJD Player is a free music player and organizer app for Android designed to cater to the needs of DJs playing music at parties and dancing events. The app is based on the standard Music Player from The Android Open Source Project and comes with several enhancements. The app provides support for browsing and playing songs based on genres, and it shows the genre of the currently playing song. DJD Player does not consider the album as a proper subcategory of the artist, and it shows the number of songs for all categories, folders, and playlists.
The app has a feature that allows the user to jump directly to the list of songs for artists/genres from the currently playing song view. DJD Player integrates the current playing song and the play queue view, and it always shows the currently playing song footer in lists, with play/pause and next buttons. The app also has an improved play queue and shuffling, application settings, delete from the playlist by slide, track info screen, browse by folder, and search for songs, artists, and albums. Users can share songs and playlists and transfer playlists between two devices via Bluetooth or WiFi Direct.
